As a child growing up in Lebanon, my mother was a master chef cooking Lebanese food. Inspired by her, I went to school to become a chef, I realized Lebanese food did not inspire me. At school I was exposed to cooking Italian, Eurpoean, and French food and found I really connected with the French cuisine.
I came to Canada with the intention to open my own French restaurant. I came to try Carribean cuisine and it clicked and I connected with it. I was really attracted to French and Carribean cuisine as they have a long and deep history.
When I came to Carribean Bliss, the owner offered me to teach me how to make the food. He stayed for 2 years to coach and guide me. I have created a menu that is French Carribean fusion. My passion for food comes out in my cooking and it truly brings me joy, and I'm not afraid to share my energy with my patrons.
